Bokashi

Bokashi is a compost produced from the fermentation process / fermentation of organic material with technology EM4 (Effwctive Microorganisms 4). EM4 itself contains Azotobacter sp, sp Lactobasillus, yeast, photosynthetic bacteria, and fungi decomposers of cellulose EM4 is the use of technological superiority of organic fertilizer can be produced in a relatively short time compared with conventional ways. Materials for making bokashi can direoleh easily around us, such as straw, grass, plant waste beans, chaff, bran (the best material for microorganisms, because the nutrients), sawdust and manure of course,

a. Ingredients
 - Straw 20 kg which has been cut into pieces about 5-10cm 
- Chaff 20 kg 
- Bran 1 kg - EM4 4 tablespoons (20ml) 
- Molasses or sugar as much as 4 (20ml) tablespoon 
- Water to taste 

b. Making way 
- First step, make a solution of EM4, molasses / sugar and water with a ratio of 1 ml: 1ml: 1liter 
- Combine Straw, Chaff, and bran, who did dry above the floor, or on the bed of tarpaulin 
- After the ingredients well mixed, pour evenly larytan EM4 and stir again so that the dough is formed. A good batter when the batter is not out of the water fists, as well when the fist is released then re-inflate the dough, the moisture content estimates about 30%. 
- The dough is made into a mound as high as 20-30cm, then mound the dough closed with a gunny sack for 3-5 days, during the process of dough dough temperature was maintained at temperature of 40-50 degrees Celsius, if the temperature exceeds 50 degrees Celsius sack cover is opened, and the dough be inverted and then digundukan back. 
- After 5 days sack of dough cover is opened, making bokashi is completed, the manufacture of said successful if the fermentation goes well froses dough covered with white mold and fragrant aroma, if the batter fails to stink.

Note: 
1. Bokashi is so should be used 
2. When will the store bokashi aerated to dry and then stored in a bag pelastik 
3. Bokashi is best used straw to mulch weathering processes and other organic material on the farm, bokashi aflikasikan straw is also good in the wet land.
